2000 AD is happy to confirm Judge Dredd 3D movie concept artist and The Losers  co-creator Jock will be appearing alongside British comics legend and 2000 AD founder Pat Mills on panel ‘Anarchy in the USA: 2000 AD Invades Comic-Con.’

The panel, also featuring Graphic Novels editor Keith Richardson, will take place 10 a.m.-11 a.m. on Thursday 22nd July in room 9. They will be discussing all things 2000 AD, including the new US exclusive graphic novel line as well as the concept art for the new Judge Dredd 3D film that is being made this year by 28 Days Later & Sunshine producers DNA Films.

JOCK:  is the pseudonym of award-winning British comics artist Mark Simpson, known for his work on 2000 AD and with writer Andy Diggle on Vertigo's THE LOSERS, which was adapted into the major Warner Brothers motion picture in 2010. He has worked extensively for the Galaxy’s Greatest Comic, 2000 AD, drawing Judge Dredd and Lenny Zero and many others. His extensive portfolio also includes concept art for many comics-themed motion pictures, including the upcoming Judge Dredd movie.

PAT MILLS: Throughout his long career, Mills has written some of the most popular comics ever published in the UK.  He has continued to write for 2000 AD since its inception in 1977, scripting such fan favourites as:  Sláine, Nemesis the Warlock, Flesh, Mach 1, and Savage. Outside 2000 AD he is the writer and co-creator of the long-running classic anti-war story Charley's War, and superhero killer Marshal Law and vampire series Requiem. He has also written Batman, Star Wars and Zombie World series for the US market
