IDW Publishing is proud to announce the launch of the all-new, ongoing 30 DAYS OF NIGHT comic book series, starting today. Fright-master Steve Niles returns to his creation that launched his career with this latest chapter and first ongoing of the brand. Niles is joined by 30 DAYS OF NIGHT: NIGHT AGAIN artist and The Maxx creator, Sam Kieth, with cover art by Davide Furno (INFESTATION:OUTBREAK). Niles and Kieth depict an epic story that shifts from Barrow, Alaska, to the city of angels, Los Angeles.
This new, ongoing series features a fresh cast of characters being introduced to the world of 30 DAYS OF NIGHT for the first time. 30 DAYS OF NIGHT #1, now available in stores and digitally, begins when a letter from Barrow, Alaska, carries a cryptic warning to a young, curious woman, leading her down a rabbit hole and face-to-face with her desires and likely her demise. Elsewhere in Los Angeles, a vampire resurrection ignites, which could threaten the very way of life of all mankind.
Readers can now visit their local retailers to obtain a copy, and should ask about the rare Fiona Staples cover and the 30 Days vampire plush dolls.
The complete IDW 30 Days of Night comics collection is also available digitally for the first time ever. The new, free 30 Days of Night iTunes app features three free comics, plus the full catalog, including today's 30 DAYS OF NIGHT #1. Since the frightening beginning in, the story has expanded to over 50 issues featuring a broad range of top comic creators.
