    Nope, still don't like this look, especially when the artist can't draw him holding a bow properly. Positioning and gauntlets don't make sense here. Lazy.

    And further proof that what might work on the big screen looks flat, uninspired and boring on the printed page. But there's no escaping now that the movies dictate the comics' content and not vice versa.

    Agreed Andy! Question: Which came first? New look Hawkeye or new look Green Arrow? Color Hawkeye green or Olly black and purple and I bet someone just picking up comics for the first time wouldn't know the difference. Hmm. Might be worth testing. Or not. Sigh. I miss Olly's Errol Flynn look and I miss Hawkeye's mask/wings. At least they weren't as interchangeable then when they looked different.

    I don't think it is particularly bad, just really uninspiring. more like an interior panel than a cover, really. not talking about how to hold a bow here though, wouldn't know anything about that. I'm a lover, not a fighter :p
