Dynamite Entertainment announced today a special surprise for Red Sonja Fans – a sneak peek of the upcoming Jim Lee cover for Red Sonja’s Anniversary issue!

“We’re very fortunate that Jim was able to work this into his schedule,” commented Dynamite Spokesperson J. Allen. “Jim is a very busy guy, but he was able to do squeeze in a cover for our main Sonja series and it ROCKS! With our delays in getting Red Sonja out on time, we thought this was a good opportunity to give the fans something “dynamite” to look forward to, especially with issue #4 hitting the stands this week, and with #5 and #6 hitting in February. We felt this was a good time to remind the fans that we’re going to keep our promise of catching up on our schedule beginning with issue #4. For those fans who have been patiently waiting, we can only say thank you.”

The image is being released the same week as the delayed Red Sonja #4 hits the stands. Fans should look for copies of the fabulous fourth issue in shops around the country beginning 01.18.06.
